We Love You, Jenni

Jenni Saake, founder of Hannah's Prayer Ministries, had multiple strokes at the end of October. She has had many ups and downs over the last month and a half, but is doing fine mentally and is conversing well.

Jenni means so much to so many of us. If she has touched your life in any way, would you consider leaving her a note of encouragement in the comments section? Please keep her and her family in prayer.

I found Hannah's Prayer, and then I found Jenni's book. I learned so much more about her life and her faith and her courage! Her testimony is what kept me looking for God in my circumstances with infertility, and she showed me time and time again how faithful He was during that time.

I'm not HP anymore, but when i was it was like a life raft for one who was drownding in the sea of infertility. I have find memories of bring there, and miss the gals very much, including Jenni. She was a source if inspiration and hope and great advise as someone who had been there and stuggled.

I'm oraying boldky for Jenni and her family!
Love you Jenni! Praying for full restoration of your health and support for you and your family.
Jenni's book and Hannah's Prayer meant so much to me when I was struggling with infertility and multiple miscarriages. The Lord has used you Jenni in such a powerful way in so many womens' lives. Thank you for being obedient to His call. I am praying for you and your family. So sorry you are having to walk through this difficulty. Believing for healing and wholeness!

Jenni you inspire me daily with your courage and determination. As I see you work so hard in therapy, and have now progressed to a regular diet, walking up and down stairs, and retraining your eye, my admiration grows for you. We are looking forward to getting you home next week. I thank God for you every day, multiple times each day.

Jenni, words can't express what your journey and ministry have meant to me. For the last 7 1/2 years you and the ladies of HP have been Christ to me in al the ups and downs. You encouraged me when my life was impacted by chronic illness and gave me hope that I can still be a good mom even if I can't do everything in the same way as others. My prayers have been and will continue to be with you and your family. Thank you for obeying God's call on your life, you may never know how many you have touched, but you can count this one my dear sister.

Jenni I am so thankful that you started HP. Because of you I still have a close relationship with our LORD. IF shook me to my core but thanks to you and HP I did not lose my faith. Thank you for HP! Praying you will be back 100% soon.
Sweet Jenni, I continue to pray for you and for your family. Your book and the Hannah's Prayer boards have helped me to see that I am not alone in this infertility journey, and I am forever thankful that I have found both. You are a treasure to so many of us! Get well SOON!

Jenni, your book brought me new hope at a time when I was struggling, and led me to Hannah's Prayer, which has been a lifeline ever since and a source of some wonderful new friendships. Your faith and determination are an inspiration to us all. May the Lord build your strength day by day and surround you with His healing presence.
I am keeping you, Jenni, and your family, in my prayers. Praying for the Lord's comfort and healing during this time. I came across the "Held" blog when I was struggling through infertility and going through this last year which has been difficult. May you find strength and healing, and may God carry you day by day.

A couple of years ago when I was in the deep throes of unrelenting grief due to recurrent miscarriages, my mom found Hannah's Prayer online for me. When I met Jenni there, I couldn't believe what a wonderful heart she had and what a beautiful ministry God had begun through her servant's heart!
Over these years I have been so blessed by Jenni's honesty, compassion, genuine love, and vulnerability. Her smile and her words never cease to bless me. And I praise God for allowing me to know her and to be part of the Hannah's Prayer ministry alongside her. God is good and faithful: that's something that Jenni has unrelentingly proclaimed to the world and also directly to me. (((HUGS)))
We love you, sweet Jenni, and appreciate you more than you can imagine.
Jenni, I am deeply saddened to learn of your strokes. I will be certain to keep you and your family in prayer. I was rereading your book today because I've been discouraged this past week...Christmas is so hard when experiencing infertility...my husband and I are on 3 years now...but your book is such a comfort to me. I read it often and I learn something new each time. I can relate so much to your thoughts/experiences in the book, it's like I wrote it myself. The book is like an old friend. In the same manner, the forums on the Hannah's Prayer Ministry website have been such a blessing to me. I have only posted a few times (I need to do so more regularly) but I am so encouraged when I read the different posts by the women. Thank you for who you are, Jenni, and thank you for the way you serve. I pray that during your time of recovery, that you would draw even closer to the LORD and that He would hold you close. Thank you for sharing your heart with all of us. We love you!
You have touched so many lives in such a poignant way. Praying for healing and recovery!
Jenni! You're doing so great! You are a superstar as usual. Praying for you and your sweet family. Love, Amy
Oh my! I am so sorry to hear that! I had been worried about you all when I didn't see posts for all of November until now. Held is such a place of encouragement and blessing to me. Praying!!!
Jenni,
I am thankful that you followed God's leading to begin the ministry of Hannah's Prayer. I have made many wonderful friends through HP and I am so blessed to be able to have a safe place to share my thoughts, my fears, my joys, and where God is leading me.

Continuing to pray for you and your family!
I am so sorry to hear of your health challenges Jenni. I have just discovered your book and this site. I am praying for your full recovery.
Praying for a quick and full recovery. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you through HP. It is a true blessing to be around women who serve the one true God and are dealing with similar issues.
Hannahs prayer provided encouragement and information I needed at a difficult time in my journey. I also remember you, Jenni responding with wisdom and love to a post I made and it meant so much. Thank you opening your heart and life up to all of us. Praying for your healing.

I'm currently reading your book, and I want to thank you for all of the encouragement you are providing me with. You're such a great example of how God can use an experience to help you grow. Thanks for trusting in Him, to use you to help others. I wish you all the best in getting through this latest trial and pray for a full recovery.

Jenni....I had NO IDEA. NO IDEA. We've been so caught up with the move and adjusting and now...a new cycle! I'm SO sorry, friend...you are and will continue to be so heavily laden on my heart and in my prayers. You are loved, loved, loved and prayed for. Taking you to His arms this very minute.

Dearest Jenni, with my health doing so badly and cognitive so bad I just found this. Now I understand why God's been telling me to pray for you. Will continue to hold you and your family up..when we are both stronger I hope to talk with you again. Get under His wings and find refuge. Love, Hugs & Prayers, Loré
Jenni, a few years ago, after four lonely years of infertility, I found the Hannah's Prayer message boards. I spent the next three years pouring out my heart to the other hurting women there. It was such a comfort to read their stories and to find understanding. HP felt like a safe place, where not just anyone could browse, and where it was ok to encourage each other to trust Jesus with the most painful thing many of us had ever experienced. I haven't been on HP for four years, but I came back to check because I refer women to the board sometimes. I'm so sorry to hear about your stroke. I'm praying now for your recovery, praying that you find God to be faithful in this form of sorrow, too. Thank you so much for setting up HP. Much love to you and your family.
Jenni, your anointing has been such a blessing to me and others as we travel this path, looking for company as well as direction to the scriptures for encouragement. I am thinking and praying for you. Spring is around the corner and I know it is this season of rebirth and revitalization you look forward to .
Thank you all. Obviously it took me a while to see this. I still see blurry and double so have trouble reading. Can't use my left hand so typing is challenging. Need a walker or wheel chair and doctor say extent of my injuries is profound but hopefully I will mostly rebuild mental connections within two years. Thank you for prayers. Circumstances are hard but God is faithful and good.
Dear Jenni,

How are you doing? I know it's been two years now since your strokes. You have suffered much but remained faithful to the Lord in love and ministry. I pray you are doing better. Miss you.

Thank you Mary. I'm now coming up on 6 1/2 years.

There are still losses. I cannot drive. I can no longer home school my after-infertility, living miracles. I still require physical therapy about twice a week simply to maintain my gains.

I am writing again. My new blog is JenniferSaake.com and my stroke story is detailed at http://jennifersaake.com/stroke/chiropractic-stro... . My facebook page is facebook.com/HarvestingHope .
